I really like how 3.1 Philip Lim styled the XXL Denim vest in his SS2012 show. The over-sized vest with the tiny belt looks so stylish. I have been looking for something similar and even considering to DIY one from MTs chunky jean jacket from 80s (could not convince him though), the search is ongoing.



While thinking of making a post about this vest, today I saw MR combining it beautifully with different outfits and accessories :) Is she becoming less man repelling or am I getting used to her style :P

So it became like a tradition for me and MT to open the summer season in Alaçatı within May. No need to mention how much we love Alaçatı :) and want it to protect its texture, locals and history which seems to be a bit challenge for everyone.

Anyway we had a great weekend that starts with a beautiful breakfast in our hotel Kurabiye, been to surf beach, had some suntan and wandered around the narrow streets which are full of handcraft and antique stores, So much fun...









Our new discovery is the restaurant Asmayaprağı which is run by the owner of famous Alaçat Kırevi. You will love the interior, she spent so much time collecting all those enamel utensils (she even had a small store where she sells some of them), and the food is tasty, lots of vegetables and herbs cooked in Aegean style, menu depends on what she found in the market that week.



I know we will meet again quiet soon ;)

Sporty Chic is so trendy lately, we see lots of mesh tank tops, super cool sneakers, sporty t-shirts, surfer and beach inspired looks ... And I am  trying to get my part out of it :) I love the whole Isabel Marant collection last few seasons, they are so wearable but cool with an attitude and twist, however a bit out of my price range.

 

I had been looking for a numbered t-shirt like Isabel Marant's and just bought  this beautiful Wildfox tee which I really liked... It is so soft and ripped at the right places which gives the vintage feel. Can't wait to wear it with jean shorts, preferably at the seaside ;)

I think SuperGa's are perfect for her,  they are so cool and simple, would go with so many outfits as Alexa Chung proved with the ad campaign :)

I have a gold  colored leather one but would definitely go for a canvas basic navy  the next time.

You know I have been obsessed with the Isabel Marant sneakers but could not find one that fits during sale. Luckily in Stockholm I have found these beige sneakers just like Isabel Marant in a shop called PAIRS inside the stylish MOOD Stockholm. They are exactly what I want with a couple of hundred euros less ;)

OK, so I was silent for a while but have been recharged and have the will for blogging again :) When it comes to how I was recharged, I had followed the footsteps of Caroline, Columbine and Elin, well not exactly but we had a short trip to Stockholm last week ;) I have always been in love with the Scandinavian design and their fashionable bloggers  and we really enjoyed Stockholm, especially since it was sunny and warm during our trip. I definitely recommend it in spring or probably better in summer if you have a couple of days to spend in Europe... And StyleBy mag really rocks, beautiful and fresh editorials...
